Description: Programmes leading to the award of Ph.D Degree is available in various disciplines. Candidates can register themselves as; Full time internal; Part time internal; Part time external. Registration to Direct Ph.D programmes for B.Tech graduates is also possible.
Eligibility Criteria: A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying degree or Master’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Management / Pharmacy / Science / Arts / Computer Applications or Chartered Accountancy (CA) with a minimum of two years of work experience or A candidate who has Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% and / or with an industrial sponsorship shall be considered for direct Ph.D. programme.

How to apply: Interested candidates may email their resume to phdadmissions-at-sastra.edu on or before prescribed date. A candidate desirous of registering for PhD programme shall submit the application in the prescribed form; the candidate must mention the name of the School in which admission is required.
Instructions to fill up the form: The candidate shall be called for a presentation before a selection committee of the University. The candidate will be asked to present a technical paper from a refereed journal.
Fees: A stipend of Rs. 12,000-16,000 per month will be provided for the selected candidates who do not receive CSIR / UGC / NET fellowship.
