Description: During the current academic year 2012-2013, a One-Week Short Term Course on “Disaster Management” is proposed to be organized during 15-10-2012 to 20-10-2012, in the campus of JNT University Hyderabad. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 40, and the selection will be based on the priority of ‘first -come-first-serve’.

Eligibility Criteria: Lecturers working in the Universities and Colleges, who are included in the list of Colleges under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, even though they may not yet be fit under 12-B of the UGC Act, are eligible to participate in the Orientation and Refresher Courses.  The teachers of colleges, which do not yet come within the purview of Section 2(f), but have been affiliated to a University for atleast 5 years, are eligible to participate in the Course. And, faculty from all branches of Engineering & Science may also apply.

How to apply: Advance copy of application may be submitted through e-mail followed by hardcopy. Participants are requested to look into website regularly for Selection List and for any other important information.  Even if the hard copy of the selection letter is not received by the selected participant, web information can be taken as authentic and he/she can attend the Course by producing the relieving letter from the concerned authorities.
